How do I book my package holiday with MyAussieHoliday?
MAH is a website dedicated to package holidays in Australia. Whilst we happily provide information on products, services and destinations on the phone, a booking request for a package holiday with MAH can only be accepted in writing and when it has been made via our website.

When will my booking be confirmed?
Your package holidays are booked on request. On Request bookings are requests which are most likely available yet can only be confirmed after MAH has received a confirmation from the service providers. Once we have been advised by the hotel, tour company etc. that your requested service is confirmed, we will then immediately provide you with a detailed confirmation of your package holiday.

How do I pay for my booking?
MAH accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards. Australian customers may choose to pay by EFT into MAH’s nominated bank account. Please enquire details if you would like to deposit funds electronically instead of using your credit card.

Please note that all credit card transactions incur a 2% credit card fee which will be based on the total amount payable by you. Please note that prices are not guaranteed unless MAH has received full payment of your booking.

How do I know my credit card details are safe once I have entered them?
MAH uses proven Secure Sockets Layer [SSL] technology to protect your personal details. SSL is a secure system which is widely used by major banks around the world; it encrypts [encodes] your personal information [such as your name, address and credit card number] so that it is available only to you and to us and can not be intercepted by anyone when your details are transferred to us. Because your details are encrypted with this technology you can be reassured that doing business with us over the internet is even more secure than buying over the phone.

Are taxes, fees and surcharges included?
MAH lists and explains in detail what is included in the advertised prices. Prices as listed in this website include Goods and Services Tax and any applicable fees and surcharges, unless otherwise mentioned. Please note that the advertised prices do not include a 2% credit card fee which applies on every payment made by credit cards.

Accommodation rates
Unless otherwise stated, the advertised price for accommodation services is the price per person and not per room.

Accommodation inclusions explained
Unless otherwise mentioned, accommodation rates are “Room Only”. If meals are included, this will be outlined in the 'Included' section of each package advertised on this website.
Room only - This means that your accommodation booking does not include any meal arrangements
Bed and Breakfast – The price of your chosen accommodation option includes daily breakfast
Half board – This indicates that your accommodation booking includes two daily meals; breakfast and dinner [unless otherwise specified]
Full board – Your accommodation booking includes three daily meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
All Inclusive - Generally this means that your booking includes three daily meals, drinks [it will be specified if ‘drinks’ also includes alcoholic beverages], snacks, entertainment and non-motorised activities as offered by the hotel or resort you have chosen. You are advised to check with the operator regarding the exact details of your all-inclusive plan as this can vary from hotel to hotel.

Should I take out travel insurance?
We strongly recommend you take out adequate comprehensive travel insurance which also covers you for any cancellation fees should you have to cancel your trip. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for information on applicable cancellation fees. MAH does not act as an insurance broker and we do not offer any travel insurance.

Can I combine multiple bookings to get lower prices?
At MAH, we believe that one size never fits everyone – Please contact us if you intend to place multiple bookings or if you are planning a trip for a group. We are flexible specialists and depending on your travel plans, we may be able to pass on to you substantial savings.

Vouchers / Travel documents
After you complete your online booking request, MAH will automatically send you an email confirming that we have received your booking request. Our travel consultants will then place the required bookings on your behalf and once all services have been confirmed to us, you will get a confirmation email outlining all details of your package holiday.

Once MAH has received your full payment, you will receive a further email containing your vouchers and other applicable travel documents. Please print service vouchers as you will be asked to present these when you check into a hotel, join a tour, cruise, excursion etc.

MAH will not send you any documents by mail; all correspondence between you and MAH is by email.

What are electronic vouchers / Travel documents?
Electronic vouchers / travel documents are stored within our reservation systems rather than printed on a paper copy. This service is identical to the traditional paper vouchers / travel documents; however, it eliminates the time and hassle associated with purchasing or exchanging paper vouchers / travel documents.

MAH will email your e-voucher / travel documents once we have received your full payment. E-vouchers / travel documents are valuable documents that should be kept securely in order to avoid unlawful any misuse by unrelated third parties.

What to do if I have special request?
At MAH, we believe that going on a holiday should be an enjoyable experience. Dietary requirements, travelling with a small child, requiring special assistance or a wheelchair etc.]. MAH is here to help!

Is there a minimum booking lead time for a package holiday with MyAussieHoliday?
A package holiday is a combination of several services and different service providers are involved in the process. All packages shown on this website are on “request”. The minimum booking time varies from 21 days to 10 days, depending on the package selected.
